Laura and Tim’s Aurora Country Club wedding was a blast for Felix and Finger’s players Sam and James. They raved about how fun this group was to play for. And they also raved about the venue.

Let’s begin with the venue. The Aurora Country Club receives an A+ for their outstanding service and food. Laura and Tim opted to have food stations which our players reported was “off the hook.” That means they loved it. The build your own pasta station, the carving station, and the salad bar will be sure to impress your most finicky guest. The staff was more than accommodating and friendly. We love weddings and realize that we are helping to make memories that will last a lifetime. We take that commitment quite seriously. That being said, sometime our performers will really connect with a group and that is what happened for Sam and James at this Aurora Country Club wedding. 
This wasn’t the first time around the block for our bride and groom so those anxieties and first time jitters were not present. The couple knew that this was a day to enjoy life and party to the fullest. They just let the fun happen on their special day that joined together both their families. To begin, they chose not to have assigned seating. Guests could choose with whom to eat dinner and we noticed what an amazingly chill vibe that led to.
Following dinner, everyone headed to the dance floor and kept those requests coming all night. We played rock, pop, country, and everything in between. Our players were wondering why we had so many requests for Nickleback’s Photograph. Apparently, it’s a favorite of the bride’s and her friends. When we did play it, the whole crowd knew all the words and sang along. We played a lot of songs that held meaning for this group and they all joined the bride in dancing to their favorites. In addition, we also brought a drummer along for this Aurora Country Club wedding. Hiring a drummer to accompany our dueling pianos is a great way to kick things up a notch. We highly recommend it. Finally, we have to report that James and Sam stated that this was one of the most fun and appreciative crowds they had ever played for.
