Felix and Fingers recently played at the Mike Ditka restaurant wedding in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  The fact that this reception took place next door to Arlington International Racecourse was pretty neat.  Furthermore, this amazing restaurant is known for it’s outstanding culture, food and 5-star hospitality.  Congratulations Katrina and Brian!

Mike Ditka Restaurant Wedding Arlington Heights

Mike Ditka Restaurant WeddingOur performer for the Mike Ditka restaurant wedding was Sam Baker.  Sam loves culture and due to the fact that this was a Jewish reception, culture started as soon as the guests arrived. With regards to this, Sam started the night off with the Hava Nagila dance. Katrina and Brian’s family stepped right in to dance with them. And in other words, it was a hit!   After dancing the Hava Nagila, guests cooled off with cocktails while Sam finished up the set with instrumental music.  Wedding receptions at this restaurant are in true Midwestern fashion. Above all, a professional staff made sure everyone enjoyed a delicious plated dinner. If you have a sweet tooth, Mike Ditka’s restaurant won’t disappoint!  Thinking of holding your next event at Mike Ditka’s restaurant?  Please click here for more information.

Song Lists and Request Slips

Mike Ditka Restaurant WeddingEventually everyone at the Mike Ditka restaurant wedding had enjoyed their fill of an amazing dinner and Sam knew it was time to party.  There were lots of song requests for special family members who weren’t able to attend the wedding.  Nothing gets the dance floor packed more quickly than Celebration by Kool & the Gang.  That being the case, Sam had all the guests on the dance floor in no time!

In addition to the tip jar overflowing, Sam could not believe that he ran out of request slips..twice.  The bride made sure to send Felix and Fingers a really great song list prior to their Mike Ditka restaurant wedding. Sam covered every song on Katrina’s list keeping guests on the dance floor with great hits.  More importantly, one of the highlights of the wedding reception at Mike Ditka’s was the mother daughter dance.  Katrina and her mother danced to Where You Lead I Will Follow by Carole King.  In conclusion, Felix and Fingers could not think of a more sentimental moment of the evening.
