Felix and Fingers recently played for this Aquaviva Winery wedding and have so much to say about it. Besides the awesome venue space, the addition of a mariachi band made this one of the most fun weddings we have been a part of.

We never thought we’d see a vineyard wedding ceremony in Illinois. But in Maple Park, we found the Aquaviva Winery. Part winery, part tasting room, and part bistro; this is an exceptional venue that will have all of your guests raving for weeks. Mariachis and More
How about two cocktail hours for your wedding? Our bride, Veronica, is of Mexican descent and wanted traditional Mariachi music. She also wanted regular music. So the first hour was with the mariachi band and they were awesome! So fun for us as usually we are the only musical entertainment. We don’t usually get to experience this traditional Mexican music and were so happy we did. These musicians, from Chicago’s Mariachi Monumental de Mexico, were professional, fun, and kept the crowd thoroughly entertained. Check them out by clicking here.
We followed with our DJ performance and were instructed to play a lot of 80’s love songs. People were swaying to tunes such as Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper and Eternal Flame by the Bangles. Following both cocktail hours, we, along with our new mariachi friends, performed a slow version of Guns N’ Rose’s Sweet Child of Mine. Bet you’ve never heard that to go along with the cake cutting! Next came our dueling piano performance after dinner. Our player’s favorite request of the evening was Despacito by Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee. 
Our DJ set also included a bunch of bachatas, cumbias, salsas, and other latin styles. SO MUCH FUN!
