Where you have your wedding ceremony and reception will be something you remember forever. The Oxford Exchange wedding event was admittedly an elegant and polished affair. In view of those observations, clean and crisp are words that described this modern wedding ceremony. Located in the heart of Tampa, Florida this venue draws inspiration from the historic clubs, libraries and shops of London. Congratulations Alexandra and Matthew!
Oxford Exchange Wedding Event Tampa
The Oxford Exchange wedding event was a blank canvas come to life. Originally constructed in 1891 as a humble stable, Oxford Exchange has undergone several amazing transformations throughout its lifetime. From birthdays and anniversaries, to fundraisers and corporate parties, this venue is also a one stop shop for weddings. They handle everything from catering and bar needs, to gift registries in The Shop. If you would like a tour of Oxford Exchange please click here.
Our performers for the Oxford Exchange wedding event were Mike Sherman and Robert Deason. A fun-loving duo that knows how to get a crowd up on their feet and moving! Besides, a friend of the groom had us perform at their wedding last year, and this couple knew they had to book us! And in all honesty, Oxford Exchange is one of the most unique venues we’ve ever played at! Truly one of a kind. In fact, it’s a cool boutique mall, with a cafe and within an hour transformed into a stunning wedding space.
The Ideal Wedding
Soft, twinkling lights and cascading florals whisked guests from ceremony to reception. During a lovely ceremony, our performers played various traditional wedding music. Cocktail hour began with songs such as All of Me by John Legend and Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. At first, speeches turned comedy club with the groomsmen as dinner was provided by an in-house catering team. The fettuccine Alfredo was out of this world! What is more, a non-traditional first dance was choreographed to I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith and it was indeed amazing!
Alexandra and Matthew didn’t want their VIP guest to miss out on their special day. Hence, “Thor” their wonder dog was in attendance. From flower girl to Master of Ceremonies, Thor stole everyone’s heart. The bride and groom even had a company called Fairy Tail Pet Care in charge of wrangling and photographing only Thor. There were some really cool pics of Thor on our piano! 90’s music and rap were overall the two biggest hits at the Oxford Exchange wedding event. Felix and Fingers knew songs such as I Want it That Way by The Backstreet Boys and Sunflower by Post Malone would keep the dance floor PACKED. This was our IDEAL wedding!
