The guests thought they were attending an engagement party but no, it was a CAVU surprise Wedding! Felix and Fingers loved playing for this event in Tampa Heights, just outside of downtown Tampa.
CAVU Surprise Wedding
CAVU is part of a revitalization of the historic Yellow Brick Row in Tampa Heights. The restoration highlights the original 
1921 architecture with polished concrete floors, vaulted ceilings, original brick and open rafters. The space is flexible and open and can accommodate events of up to 250 people. This space is chic and industrial modern in atmosphere. We loved it.
To begin, we had cocktail hour and there was the most amazing cheese and meat

Surprise!
After about 45 minutes into the party, the groom, Michael, informed the guests that this wasn’t just an engagement party. He and his bride, Casey, would be having the marriage ceremony right then and there! The guests were sure surprised but also super happy for this very fun couple.
Michael and Casey love 90’s and 2000’s pop and hip hop. Our performers, Mike and Mike did not disappoint. The dance floor was hopping all night. One special moment is when Mike sang Love is an Open Door from Frozen with accompaniment from the bride’s young niece. So special. 
To top off the evening, however, we have to give the prize of the night to the groom’s brother. He had us play I’m Too Sexy by Rod Stewart and then off came his shirt! Apparently, this has happened before.
