South Gulf Cove Yacht Club has been recognized as the premier social organization within South Gulf Cove. This club organizes a wide range of activities and events. Actually, some on the water and some on land. Water activities include raft-ups in the Interceptor Lagoon. There are also poker runs for those who feel lucky.
Above all, this club also offers overnight trips to Florida resorts. Land events include themed dinner dance parties such as a Sweetheart Dance, as well as St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween events. Other events such as Lobster & Clam Bake are a hit with this club. Furthermore, Tampa Bay Lightning games, Polo, golf tournaments, car shows, and much more are all available at this incredible club. A Crowd that Loved to Sing and Dance
Micki (our client) and her crew could not have been nicer folks. We truly had a blast performing for them. Our show kicked off with When Irish Eyes are Smiling by Bing Crosby for Saint Patrick’s Day. It was actually around the corner. Oh and by the way, we had some fun with a couple, meaning two, guests from Alabama. Sweet Home Alabama had our Southern guests singing proud!
Our performers know how to interact with a crowd and boy did our crowd love our performers. Felix heard there were some birthdays in the room. All birthday guests performed a Rockette style kick line to New York, New York by Frank Sinatra. Charlie (a guest) decided to join the kick line at the last minute. We announced he used to be a Rockette! Above all, Felix had a chance to DJ for two hours towards the end of our show. The crowd was a little older so we DJ’d almost all disco music. Our favorite!
