This was our first time performing at Monet Monet. We can only describe this event space as a Zen Garden. Totally chill and very relaxing. In fact, Jonathon Quinn, (original owner), built the gardens and house in 1990. He successfully recreated Claude Monet’s home and gardens in Giverny, France. Just on a smaller scale. We’d love to give a shout out to Becca and “The Team” with Grayton Beach Catering. Not only are they wonderful to work with, but also very accommodating. The ceremony was stunning. A magical space indeed.
Singing, Dancing and Special Requests
Once our Monet Monet Wedding Celebration started, it was high-energy from our player’s first note to our closing song. To begin with, there was a very young gentleman (Bradley) who requested Copperhead Road by Steve Earle. Nate and Jordan tried to get Bradley to lead a line, but he was too shy. Another guest jumped in and the rest was history.
We had requests of all kinds, from country to hip hop. Felix loves an eclectic music list. Our pianos held requests such as I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton, to Lizzo’s Truth Hurts. From there, we closed out when Nate had everyone singing Meet In The Middle by Diamond Rio! Nate also mashed up of Cotton Eyed Joe by Rednex and Sold by John Michael Montgomery. He was, without doubt, king of the keys at our Monet Monet Wedding Celebration. Felix and Fingers wish Griffin and Karli a lifetime of love and happiness!
