Your guests will love the area and the accommodations. They can stroll along the beach and search for seashells or dine in their restaurants. Not during your wedding, of course, but before or after as they will want to stay for at least a few days. The area is gorgeous and there is so much to do. We found the staff to be quite helpful. They certainly know how to host a wonderful wedding, that’s for sure.
Florida Fun and Sun
We are based in Chicago so anytime we have the chance to head to the sunshine state, we are on it. We love going to this area. A beach wedding is always beautiful but you also need to have a backup plan just in case. We didn’t need it for this 
Diamond Head Resort Wedding but know that our bride took great comfort in knowing that they take care of this with ease. After the beachfront ceremony, we headed into beautiful ballroom for the reception. And that’s when thing got hot. And we’re not talking about just the weather. It was the groom’s birthday and his new bride performed a spot on Marilyn Monroe-esque version of Happy Birthday to You.
We had a ton of requests for music from the 80’s and 90’s so you know it was a great dance party. Songs like the Knack’s My Sharona and The Commodore’s Brick House brought out some awesome dance moves. We really enjoyed playing All That She Wants by Ace of Base and Be My Lover by La Bouche. It was a fun night all around and everyone had a blast. It was definitely a successful Felix and Fingers wedding performance.
